Your gift helps people
rebuild their lives

When someone comes to ECS, they are often going through one of the hardest times in their life, such as homelessness, trauma, or addiction. Your generosity allows ECS to meet people with compassion, stability, and a way forward.

Your generosity provides:

  • Safe shelter and meals for neighbors experiencing homelessness

  • Recovery services that support long-term stability

  • Behavioral health and family support that help children and parents thrive

Because of partners like you, ECS can say “yes” when people need help the most. This support offers services that restore dignity and open the door to a better future.

Meet Maria

Maria survived years of abuse and violence before homelessness and addiction took hold of her life. She lost custody of her children, struggled to stay safe, and experienced multiple overdoses. For a long time, it felt impossible to imagine a different future.

At Uptown Safe Haven, an ECS transitional housing program, Maria found more than just shelter. She received food, recovery support, and the care she needed to start healing physically, emotionally, and mentally. With steady support, Maria learned how to care for her health, maintain her sobriety, and rebuild her sense of purpose.

Today, Maria has moved into her own apartment and volunteers each week to help feed people experiencing homelessness. She hopes to encourage others who have faced domestic violence and trauma to believe that change is possible.

Your gift makes stories like Maria’s possible.

Make your gift today and help someone take their next step toward safety and stability.

Your gift helps ensure that neighbors and families across our community have access to care and hope when they need it most.
